  17. I personally have not voiced any comments on the subject because I fear that
  18. my mind is too closed. I know many of the details and intricacies of the
  19. Macintosh runtime architecture that tend to blinders on me. As Norbert
  20. eventually pointed out, there are many problems that make shared code not as
  21. trivial as people were led to believe. Personally, I don't think that there is
  22. a solution without considerable work in changing MPW's linker. Therefore, I
  23. could not speak in favor of the idea.

  25. However, I didn't want to stop people from brainstorming the subject. I didn't
  26. want to impose MY limitations on everyone else. There's a chance that someone
  27. will hit upon a simple elegant solution that will actually work. Therefore, I
  28. could not speak against the idea.
